Kristine Hermosa was born on September 9, 1983, from Masbate, Philippines.
Her father is Maximillian Orille and her mother is Maria Alma Hermosa-Orille. She has three siblings, Kathleen Hermosa, who preceded her in the film industry, Joshua Hermosa, and Maxine Hermosa.
She is the second child of her parents. Christine Hermosa started her career at the age of 12 in 1955 when she appeared in the comedy show Ang Tv.
