Dave Grohl is unrecognizable after ditching his usual rock star look at Wimbledon

Dave Grohl has undergone a major transformation as he looked unrecognizable in a recent appearance.

The Foo Fighters lead singer and his wife, Jordyn Blum, attended the second day of Wimbledon on Tuesday, July 2. The rocker ditched his usual style and surprised everyone with his “clean look.”

In photos taken at the event, the 55-year-old “Smells Like Teen Spirit” rocker tied his long curly hair back and wore a suit.

After seeing Grohl’s latest fashion look, fans took to X to share their reactions.

One said, “My friend Dave Grohl in his Wimbledon suit is so strong it’s unbelievable.”

“Seeing Dave Grohl in a suit and hair tied up is so weird I’m not used to it,” another wrote.

“Dave Grohl in suit and tie in the royal box at Wimbledon not on today’s bingo card!!! #Wimbledon #foofighters,” a third said, while another shared, “who knew Dave Grohl wore a suit”.

Grohl appears ahead of Foo Fighters’ scheduled performance in Poland on Wednesday, July 3.

The frontman recently received hate comments from Swifties after he joked about the “Midnight Rain” singer and her Eras Tour at his band’s concert in London on June 22.

“I’m telling you, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” he told their fans. “So we’re calling our tour ‘The Fault Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few f—— eras – and more than a few f—— mistakes. Just a few. That’s because we actually play live… what?!”

He also joked that the crowd definitely enjoyed “live rock n’ roll” and that they “came to the right place”.

The following day, Swift appeared to respond to Grohl’s comments while performing in front of nearly 100,000 people at her third show in London.

“What you just did is an unforgettable moment not only in my life but also in the life of every member of our crew. The band will play live music for you for three and a half hours tonight,” she shared, showing recognition for her band.

According to media reports, Elon Musk’s chatbot Grok on X misinterpreted Grohl’s comment, sparking a culture war. It added the standard warning about poorly written inaccuracies to the post: “Grok can make mistakes, verify its output.”
