Early life and education
David Dobrik was born in Kosice, Slovakia. He was born on July 23, 1996. His family later moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States when he was about 6 years old.
His father is Pavo Dobrik, while his three siblings include two sisters, Ester Dobrik and Sara Dobrik, and a brother, Toby Dobrik.

David Dobrik began his schooling here; he attended primary and secondary school in local schools in the area.
While in school, he was very interested in playing tennis. So he started playing tennis for competitive reasons. David Dobrik participated in a tennis competition, qualified for the 2014 Boys’ State Tennis Championships and won third place. After finishing school, he moved to Los Angeles to start his career at Vine.
Career
David Dobrik’s career began between 2013 and 2016 when he started his Vine vlog on YouTube. He has had several collaborations with other popular Vine creators, including Gabbie Hanna.
On his Youtube Vlog, he mainly uploads comedy videos based on real events, animated or scripted.
David Dobrik gained a massive following when he started uploading self-filmed videos of comedy skits, practical jokes, inside jokes, cute animals, and hosting shows for popular vloggers and Viners.
He has gained over 10 million subscribers on his YouTube page. He is very passionate and persistent in what he does.

Personal life
David Dobrik is protected from deportation as a Slovakian citizen who immigrated to the United States illegally. Through DACA. He has three younger siblings.
He was reportedly dating popular YouTube star Liza Koshy from 2015 to 2018. They broke up in June 2018.
In 2019, David Dobrik decided to give love another chance and legally married his girlfriend Lorraine Nash. However, the couple broke up after a month of living together for reasons unknown to the public.
David Dobrik announced on Instagram that he has officially filed and signed divorce papers from Lorraine Nash.
