Davido Set to Pay $30 Million to Amaju Pinnick in Contract Dispute Settlement

Nigerian music sensation Davido and former NFF President Amaju Pinnick have opted for an out-of-court settlement. The disaster began when Pinnick Brownhill Investments LLC took Davido to court, accusing him of breach of contract.

Imagine this: it all started in March 2023 when Davido’s group signed a contract to perform at ‘Warri One More Time‘concert. However, Davido did not show up, citing another show in Australia. This raised eyebrows and eventually led to a court case.

Back to the present, and we hear a different tune. A Delta State high court has given the green light to an out-of-court settlement, bringing peace to the proceedings. As part of the deal, Davido agreed to pay Pinnick $30 million within a week and showcase his talent at ‘Warri One More Time‘concert in october.

But wait, that’s not all. Davido is also waving the white flag in his appeal against the court ruling earlier this year. And in a nice move, Pinnick is arranging all the logistics for Davido’s performance, including travel on a luxury private jet and comfortable accommodations.

This whole story is like a roller coaster ride, with Brownhill Event Center Demanding $70 Million Refund Because Davido Failed to Appear at ‘PreviousWarri One More Time‘party. But with this deal, both sides are ready to move on.
