DJ Kaywise was founded on August 4, 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria.

In August 2020, DJ Kaywise released a single titled “What Type of Dance” featuring Mayorkun, Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile, which ranked number 5 on the Billboard Top Triller Global chart.

Then, in December 2020, he released another song titled “High Way” featuring Phyno. The single moved up to No. 7 after spending two weeks on the Billboard Top Triller Global Chart.
