How to perform Eid prayer

Silently say the opening prayer to yourself.

Make three more requests to the imam, raising your hand for each request. Listen to Imam recite Surah al-Fatiha and other Surahs..

Say ‘Allahu Akbar’ while moving into ruku with the imam and wishing everyone else and continue the prayer cycle as usual.

In the second rakah, listen to Surah al-Fatihah and any other surah.
