Elise Jordan was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi, United States. She was born on June 22, 1990, to Kelly Jordan (father) and Susan Boone Jordan (mother). Her older brother is Russell Jordan. Her father died in 2016 after suffering a heart attack.
She has had a strong passion for journalism since she was a child. She attended Yale University after graduating from high school, earning a BA in history in 2004.

Elise Jordan made her television debut in 2011 as a guest on Fox News’ Red Eye with Tom Shillue. She made her debut on Hannity later that year.
