M WEB Desk: Famous TV host, Ellen DeGeneres is said to be moving to the United Kingdom (UK) with her long-time partner, Portia de Rossi, following the election of Donald Trump, coterie right-wing, conservative, president of the United States (USA).
Originally American, Ellen and her associates are said to have settled in the postcard-worthy Cotswolds region, located 70 miles west of London.

Those close to the couple suggested that their decision to emigrate was motivated by Donald Trump’s victory and fear of backlash as part of the LGBTQIA community.
According to reports, the former comedian and her partner are in the process of selling their California home, hinting at plans for a permanent move.
According to TMZ, the couple bought their current residence in the UK before the US election on November 6.
Ellen DeGeneres’ move quietly and quickly surprised many, although those close to the former comedian said they expected it.
The American native has long been a supporter of US Vice President Kamala Harris. The left-leaning Democratic Party candidate lost to Trump by a large margin, shocking many people.
In several social media posts, Ellen expressed her admiration for Harris. “There is nothing stronger than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president,” she said in one of her posts.
The former TV presenter has repeatedly called on her followers to participate in the voting process, with special emphasis on citizen participation.
However, she is not the only celebrity to flee the United States before the president-elect takes office.
Reality media celebrity, Eva Longoria, revealed that she and her family have moved to Mexico and Spain. She describes the current political climate in America as “dystopian.”
The actress also said she is worried about the shift to left-leaning, laid-back California society.
