Early life and education
Gabriel Attal, now 35 years old, was born on March 16, 1989 in Clamart, a suburb of Paris.
He grew up with three sisters in the 13th and 14th arrondissement of Paris. He had a comfortable and privileged childhood, but he also faced bullying at school.
He was educated at the École Alsacienne, a prestigious private school that has produced many famous politicians and artists.

Gabriel Attal began his political career in 2012 when he joined the office of health minister Marisol Touraine as a rookie with work experience.
