Kennisandra Jeffries is the wife of U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries. Their supporters have also hailed them as “the next Barack and Michelle Obama.” When speaking to students at Beacon in 2018, Hakeem Jeffries joked, “As aspiring politicians, you understand that you always acknowledge your wife from the start.” His wife, Kennisandra, was in the audience at the time, making his joke all the more hilarious.
