Early life and education
Gogo Dineo was born on June 10, 1981. She was born and raised in Alexandria, South Africa. This life coach grew up under the care of her grandparents.
Gogo Dineo’s grandfather taught her to live a righteous and Christian life. But sooner than expected, everything turned out to be a waste of time for her. According to her, she was summoned by some ancestral spirits.
According to Gogo Dineo, she was taken to a psychiatric facility for six months where she was diagnosed with a condition called temporal lobe epilepsy. She also recounted that whenever music was played in church, her voice would change instantly and she would be put into a trance.
At this time, her family was struggling and feeling insecure because they did not understand what was happening.
During her childhood, Gogo Dineo was awarded a scholarship to an American international school called Bryanston. There is currently no information about her tertiary education.
Personal life
When Gogo Dineo first realized her powers, she found them to be untrue. Years later, she began to accept and understand her healing abilities. Throughout her childhood, she was able to do things that other children could not do, like reading her friends’ palms.
She began to embrace her gift at the age of 29. She spent ten months in the Sangomas’ training school, doing everything she could to maintain her healing skills.

Gogo Dineo was happily married; she married an unidentified man in 2005 at the age of 21, but things fell apart in her marriage. In December 2019, it was widely reported in the media that Gogo Dineo was going through a divorce. After a decade and four years of marriage, she and her husband ended their marriage.
Career
Gogo Dineo revealed that throughout her journey as a sangoma, she has never forced anyone to do anything that their ancestors did not agree with.
According to her, she said, “In my institute, I never asked anyone for thwasa. When it comes to that, I am quite strict.
Before you became one of my spiritual children, you must have dreamed of me or my house more than once.” She also asserted that she did things differently from other gobelas. “If an ancestor introduced someone to me, I would take them into my house for two weeks to show them what other thwasas do every day and make sure that this is something they are ready to do.
