Early life
Hsure was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Simeone Itoki on July 18, 2000. Coming to the world at the beginning of the new millennium, his parents decided to give him the English name Henry.
He was born in Okpai Oluchi community in Delta state. He grew up in the same town and hails from Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State. His formative years were spent living in the family home and attending school in his home community.
Hsure comes from a middle-class family of seven people. He has four siblings; three sisters and one brother. His parents were both businessmen, so they made sure that Hsure and his siblings didn’t lack for anything good.
During his childhood and adolescence, he enjoyed listening to the sounds of Nigerian artists, which helped foster his love of music and motivated him to pursue a professional career in the field. He is influenced by artists such as Timaya, 2Baba, P-Square, Olu Maintenance, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Wizkid, Davido, among others.

Career
Hsure’s musical journey can be traced back to the age of thirteen, when he began composing songs in the comfort of his parents’ home. From starting by writing lyrics in his notebook, he delighted his parents and neighbors in the neighborhood with the songs he composed and also showed off his talent through performances at school events.
When he graduated from high school, he made his mark as one of the school’s most creative students. And many of his classmates believe that he will be successful in this industry in the future.
Based on the dreams and motivation of those close to him, Hsure decided to start recording his songs. And this brought him to a few audio producers in his community, where he made a few records.
For a few years, he recorded music and released it to the public. Although the songs were successful locally, solidifying his stance as an outstanding artist, he failed to gain the desired traction. But he didn’t let this happen to him and focused more on refining his sound and patiently waiting for the opportunity to come.
In 2021, Hsure mined the industry’s gold mine and became a famous music phenomenon across the country. This win comes after he dropped his official debut project, which was a 6-track EP titled Proclivity.
The project has a combined listen time of over 18 minutes, including singles – God Abeg, Tattoo, Untitled, Proclivity, Banging and Woman. Proclivity received major airplay on several domestic radio stations. The EP’s lead single, Proclivity, was the project’s most successful song. Considered a fan favorite, the song has garnered thousands of streams across digital music platforms.
Hsure’s new status has opened up opportunities for him to collaborate more in the industry with other rising artists and some established artists in the industry. So he has some work in progress that will be released soon. Additionally, he has become a familiar face at music shows, concerts and events held in Southern Nigeria, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy his live performances. .
Hsure collaborated with female singer Blaq Barbie, who appeared as a featured artist for his single Tattoo.
