Early life
JaneMena was born and raised in Delta state.
She grew up with her siblings and was not known for her dancing skills at that time.

After completing her basic and secondary education in the Niger Delta, JaneMena was admitted to Delta State University, Abraka, to study Mass Communication for the stipulated period.

JaneMena first gained fame after winning a dance competition hosted by Nigerian music artist, Kcee in 2017, to complement his song Dance, in collaboration with Phyno. She was awarded a sum of 2 million naira for her dance performance.
Months later, she began sharing clips of her twerk skills on her Instagram page, which now has more than 2 million followers.
She is considered by many to be Nigeria’s top ‘twerker’ and has been compared to South Africa’s Faith Nketsi in recent times.
She is also a brand ambassador for an e-commerce company called Patricia and a hair product line called Lishashair.

JaneMena got engaged to her longtime lover, Andre Plies, on Valentine’s Day 2019. He popped the question during their vacation in the Maldives.
They got married that same year, the traditional wedding was held in JaneMena’s hometown in Delta State.

Scandal of adultery with prince Kpokpogri (Controversy)
Janemena faces an adultery scandal that threatens to destroy her marriage.
Popular Instagram influencer and dancer, Janemena has been the subject of controversy for over two weeks now. The beautiful young woman famous for her viral twerking videos is at risk of losing her husband after a leaked audio tape confirmed that she had an affair with Prince Kpokpogri. This goes against her previous position that she had never slept with Prince Kpokpogri before and he did not have their sex tape.
The whole problem can be traced back to when Tonto Dikeh and her ex, Prince Kpokpogri, broke up. After their public relationship ended, Tonto Dikeh revealed through his Instagram page that Prince Kpokpogri had a sex tape of him and famous dancer Janemena being in love. She went further to allege that Prince Kpokpogri and Janemena were having an affair despite the latter being married.
Janemena and Prince Kpokpogri have denied the allegations, calling Tonto Dikeh a liar. Janemena went further by challenging Tonto Dikeh to release the sex tape if she actually had it.
Janemena filed a lawsuit through her lawyer demanding 5,000,000 naira in damages to further prove her innocence.
In response, Tonto Dikeh posted on her page that she will not release any videos and that she will wait until they go to court. She also mocked Janemena for begging her not to secretly release the tape and publicly accuse her in court.
However, the recently released audio tape via blogger Gist Lovers’ Instagram page proved that Tonto Dikeh was telling the truth the whole time. Prince Kpokpogri can be heard in the tape confirming that he and Janemena had been having sex for a long time. According to him, Janemena confessed that he is better in bed than her husband, Andre Plies.
This damning evidence caused many trolls to come looking for Janemena. And it is thought that this recording could be the final straw that breaks the camel’s back and causes Janemena’s marriage to fall apart.
