Julian Casablancas claims this iconic shot is ‘Death’ to him

There are some other songs like ‘Reptilia’, ‘Hard to Explain’, ‘Someday’, ‘Take It Or Leave’ it’, ‘New York City Cops’ is comparable in terms of crowd reaction which I don’t get too bored with. If I heard it on the radio, I’d probably turn it off,” he said. Guardian.

Casablancas’ latest comments on “Last Nite” aren’t the first time he’s spoken negatively about the song. In 2020, he also shared his disdain for the song.

“We hadn’t played in a while so it was still fun, but when you start playing 30 or 40 shows, the music doesn’t move you. You feel suffocated. To some extent, that’s why why I play with Voidz. I don’t care about playing ‘Last Nite,'” he said through distant magazine.

“Really, it’s like listening to a song. I quickly got bored with the songs. Even Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’. You hear enough things, you will get bored,” he added.
