Katy Perry expressed support for Kamala Harris ahead of Election Day at a rally in Pittsburgh.

During the protest on November 4, Perry took the stage to perform her iconic songs “Dark Horse,” “Part of Me,” “Firework” and a charming cover of “Greatest Love of All” by Whitney Houston. The male singer also interacted with the audience and emphasized the importance of the election.

According to clips shared on platform X (formerly Twitter), Perry began by recounting her experience of becoming a mother four years ago and how her daughter Daisy Dove Bloom influenced her choice her vote.

“Four years ago, I became a mother,” Perry said. It was the best decision I ever made.” “Orlando (Bloom) and I welcome our daughter, Daisy, and she is the reason I voted for Kamala Harris.”

Perry continued her confirmation by saying she had known Harris “before she was a senator.” The singer said she has always known Harris’s determination to “fight for the vulnerable,” “speak up for the voiceless” and “protect women’s rights.”

“I know she will protect my daughter’s future, your children’s future and the future of our family. So Pittsburgh, make Kamala Harris the next president of the United States.”
