The 30-year-old “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer reportedly still can’t believe she started dating Chase Stokes after her divorce from Morgan Evans. The couple first sparked dating rumors in January 2023 before going public with their romance on the CMT Awards red carpet in April 2023.

A source told Life & Style: “Kelsea still consoles herself that she and Chase have found each other. “They both want the same things in life: a solid marriage with open communication, a few kids, and a loving home. These two are meant to be together.”
The insider continued, “Kelsea and Chase are extremely compatible and have the same vision for their future.”

The “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer previously told Alex Cooper that she slipped into The outer bands DM’d the former student on Instagram and their relationship started from there.

“It’s my favorite chapter of my life, and she’s such a special person,” Stokes said of their relationship in a previous interview with OK!. “Combining our dogs is also fun because Dibs and Milo couldn’t be more different in the way they act. Dibs is an old soul and a sweetheart, and Milo is 3.5 and we call him Bullet Boy because he’s always on the go. It’s so fun to get into this chapter of our lives and experience each other’s worlds.”

In January 2023, Ballerini and Stokes watched the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium with friends amid romance rumors. A few days later, Stokes seemingly confirmed their relationship by posting a photo of them cuddling.

In the weeks that followed, Stokes and Ballerini continued to talk about their relationship, although they had to wait until April 2023 to make their red carpet debut as a couple.
The “Mountain With a View” singer was previously married to Evans. They were married for five years after dating following their meeting at the Australian Country Music Channel Awards in 2016.
Ballerini filed for divorce from Evans in August 2022. Sources said the couple had been separated privately and had been undergoing therapy for years before their split. The former couple reached a settlement on November 3, 2022.
