Lana Del Ray’s album cover received mixed reactions from Instagram netizens
Lana Del Ray is trending on social media following the announcement of her upcoming album “The Right One Will Stay.” However, the female singer’s album cover photo has caused many mixed reactions from netizens.
On November 25, Lana posted to her official Instagram account to introduce fans to new content. The female singer shared that the 13-track album will be released on May 21, 2025 and proudly acknowledged her producers.
Many fans were delighted by the singer’s surprise announcement, causing them to express their excitement on social media.
One fan said: “This is the news I’ve been waiting for! The new music is poetic, melodious and said to be sensual yet dramatic from the goddess herself.”
Another commented: “Lana, I’m so happy and grateful! It means so much to me to be here and witness your journey of recording another beautiful record.”
Unfortunately, on X (formerly Twitter), some fans were hoping that the photo Lana posted on her Instagram wouldn’t be the album cover. Others even pointed out that the album cover resembled a funeral pamphlet and how it was “Picsart coded”.
Back on her Instagram, Lana also commented on her own post, saying that the cover was designed by her sister Caroline Grant.
“It was actually my sister’s design,” Lana said.
