LANY lead singer Paul Klein has given everyone a big update after he was involved in a tragic accident.

“Hello everyone – last Thursday night I was hit by a car while riding home from the gym on my vespa,” Klein told his followers on Instagram. “I don’t really remember anything after the crash. I woke up on a stretcher and was put in an ambulance.”

According to Klein, he “cried a lot” and remained “thankful and happy” over the past few days, emphasizing how “lucky” he is to still be alive.
“All my vitals are good, but walking and moving around is still a challenge. However, I’m gradually getting better and will be 100% soon.”
Following Klein’s injury, the pop rock band announced they would postpone the remaining dates for their A Beautiful Blur: The World Tour.
Competitions in Australia and New Zealand will be rescheduled while Klein recovers.

In photos that Klein shared on social media, he has a large bruise on his left eye and several scars on his fist and leg.
“Doctors have advised us to reschedule upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand to quickly restore my health,” Klein announced. “For those of you who have purchased aus/nz tickets, please keep them and new dates will be announced soon. Thank you for your understanding.”
Klein added that the incident only “intensified the sense of purpose” he had.
“..So I’m looking forward to recovering and getting back into it,” he concluded. “All other tour dates remain the same. I love you and this life deeply! See you soon.”

Fans have been wishing Klein well on his Instagram, wishing him a speedy recovery.
“Thank God you’re okay and pray for your speedy recovery. I love you, I could cry, I love you so much,” one person said.
“Thank God you’re okay!! Hope you recover 100% soon, love you so much,” another wrote.
“Thank God you’re okay! You’ve always been here for us, now we’ll be here for you! Wishing Paul the fastest recovery! We love you so much!” one fan commented.
“I just prayed the longest prayer for you when I got home. You are in my heart now more than ever. I love you so much, Paul,” said a fourth.
