Final Era Settings Optimization Guide
Main quality settings:
- The master mass doesn’t matter as each option will be customized in this guide.
Display mode:
- Select “Borderless Window” for seamless tab replacement during ARPG gameplay.
brightness:
- Set brightness to Medium or High based on your monitor’s default gamma setting.
Vertical sync:
- Turn off vertical sync in the game. Please use the graphics driver’s built-in vertical synchronization.
Limit frame rate:
- Enable FPS throttling, typically matching your monitor’s refresh rate for optimal performance.
Limit background FPS:
- If using full screen, set to 15 FPS. For borderless full screen, set to 30 FPS.
Shadow quality:
- Choose Very High or Medium. If you can’t always achieve 60 FPS, avoid setting it higher than Medium.
Detailed shading:
- Enabling this option enhances visual detail without a significant impact on performance.
Texture:
- Select “Medium”. Scaling texture resolution from low to medium provides significant visual improvements.
Anti-aliasing:
- Selecting TAA (Temporary Anti-Aliasing) reduces jagged edges, but it softens the overall appearance.
Grass density:
- Maximize to “full”. This option has minimal impact on performance.
Reflection:
- Set to “Medium”. Quality improvements beyond this setting are not very noticeable.
Ambient Occlusion:
- Choose the “Medium” preset, which covers all AO capabilities without incurring excessive performance costs.
Volumetric lighting:
- Choose Medium to strike a balance between visuals and performance.
SSR (Screen Space Reflection):
- Set to “Medium”. As of now, higher settings may not provide significant visual enhancements.
Terrain quality:
- Choose “High” considering the large amount of time you spend looking at the ground during gameplay.
