Early Life & Education

Lil Kesh was born and raised in Bariga, a place located in Lagos state, Nigeria. He was born on March 17, 1995 and hails from Osun State, Western Nigeria. He is from the Yoruba tribe.

He has an older brother named Keshinro Pelumi and he was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Keshinro.

After that, he signed a record-breaking contract called Yahoo Boy No Laptop Nation or commonly known as YBNL Nation. YBNL is an independent record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide in 2012.

Under this label, Lil Kesh released a series of hit singles such as Shoki, Gbese, Efejoku, Last Card, etc., and released his debut studio album, YAGI.

Then, in 2014, he released a hit single titled Shoki. Shoki topped several music charts and catapulted this superstar musician to fame. As a result of this music production, he earned several nominations for awards but won two.
