Actress Sarah Catherine Hook stars as Juliette Fairmont, a teenage vampire, in First Kill, which will premiere on Netflix on June 10, 2022.
Juliette is “a shy, kind-hearted teenage girl who was born a vampire and is determined not to become one.” Sarah’s character description adds: “Her family has always supported her, but as she grows up, her search for love is challenged by her heritage.”
Based on a short story by V.E. Schwab, First Kill follows teenage vampire Juliette Fairmont, who sets her sights on Calliope Burns, a new girl in town, when she is asked to commit her ‘first kill’ in order to take her rightful place among a powerful vampire. Little does Juliette know that Calliope is actually a vampire hunter and comes from a family of powerful, renowned killers. As for Calliope, she is also asked to commit her first kill. Things get complicated when the two people who are supposed to kill each other fall in love.
