David Graziano joined Law & Order: Special Victims Unit starting in season 24, shortly after Warren Leight stepped down as showrunner at the end of the current season 23. Unfortunately, the same year he joined the cast, allegations against him for “mistreatment of subordinates, being volatile and easily angered, and making inappropriate and demeaning comments toward women and people of color” surfaced from people who had worked with him over the years.

According to reports, the cause of this series of accusations was the resignation of the show’s script coordinator, Haley Cameron.

David himself later spoke out, saying he refused to blame his past behavior on the abuse he suffered and learned as a child from a Catholic priest and from his own mother as an excuse for misogyny.
