Early life and education
Angela Ballard was born on 6 June 1982 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. She was raised by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ballard, and grew up with unnamed siblings.
She attended Lyneham Primary School and Lyneham High School in Canberra, where her physical education teacher first encouraged her to participate in wheelchair sports.
