Early life
MrBeast was born on May 7, 1998. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donaldson, named him Jimmy Donaldson. He was born in Kansas State and spent his early childhood days in this city.
His formative years took place in Greenville, North Carolina. He has an older brother named CJ Donaldson.
MrBeast attended Greenville Christian Academy, a private school, for his high school diploma. He graduated from the school in 2016.

After leaving high school, MrBeast became a college student at East Carolina University.

MrBeast’s YouTube career began in February 2012 when he uploaded his first video. He was thirteen years old at the time. His original account name was MrBeast6000. By July 2013, his channel had grown to 240 subscribers.
By 2015 and 2016, he began to gain popularity on YouTube and grew his subscriber count to 30,000. To focus on his growing content creation career, he decided to drop out of college. He became internationally famous after his “Counting to 100,000” video went viral on YouTube. The video had thousands of views in just a few days.
Over the years, he has expanded his content to include challenge and donation videos, videos with difficult missions and survival challenges, and original vlogs. To fuel the growth of the channel, he has hired many of his childhood friends to help run the brand. As of 2022, he has a team of 60 people.
His main YouTube channel, MrBeast, has over 94 million subscribers as of May 2022. He has side channels such as Beast Reacts, MrBeast Gaming, Mr Beast Shorts, and a charity-focused channel. He is one of the highest-paid YouTube content creators.
MrBeast is also an entrepreneur and has founded two brands, MrBeast Burger and Feastables. He is the co-founder of Team Trees and Team Seas, two fundraising programs for the Arbor Day Foundation and the Ocean Conservatory.
