Sakshi Dhoni was born and raised in Lekhapani, Assam, India, on 19 November 1988. Her father, RK Singh, worked at Kanoi Group’s Binaguri Tea Company, while her mother, Sheila Singh, was a housewife.
Her family had to move from their hometown in Lekhapani to Dehradun, where her grandparents lived.
Sakshi Dhoni’s grandfather was working as a divisional police officer at that time. She was born into a family of three people. She has two siblings. An older brother named Akshay Singh and a younger sister named Abhilasha Bisht.
According to sources, Sakshi Dhoni did his primary and secondary schooling in his hometown Lekhapani. She completed her secondary education from Welham Girls’ School in Dehradun.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Aurangabad Institute.
Personal life
Sakshi Dhoni met her husband MS Dhoni while interning at Taj Bengal, Kolkata. They met in 2007 but started officially dating in 2008.

After two years of love, the couple decided to legalize their relationship by getting married on July 3, 2010. The wedding was held at Vishranti Resort with the attendance of many famous personalities.
Five years after getting married, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Ziva Dhoni, in February 2015. Overall, Sakshi Dhoni has an introverted personality. She always stays away from paparazzi and other public gatherings.
