New Orleans Taylor Swift fan explains why she booked 191 hotel rooms before concert

Taylor Swift fans were excited when she arrived in New Orleans and some of them went too far.

A die-hard Taylor Swift fan explained why she decided to book 191 hotel rooms ahead of Swift’s concert in the city on October 25. Rebecca Fox shared that she booked a room at the Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome for about $500. four nights each this week, Louisiana Radio Network report.

Despite the hefty room rates, Fox shared that she actually got a bargain because she booked them right after Swift’s Eras Tour’s New Orleans dates were announced.

“Other hotels not only charge eight to nine hundred dollars a night, but also charge an additional fee for a quadruple room,” she said.

Fox added: “Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome, the exact property we were staying at for $499.50 on our block, sold for the posted nightly rate of $829.00 plus with taxes and fees”.

Swiftie shared that she eventually resold the rooms she booked and only asked for what she paid for them. Her reason behind that was so other Swift fans could have fun and get to know each other over the weekend and while Swift was in town. While her kindness will be appreciated by her fans, she has no doubt that Swifties are being prayed over when it comes to prices.

“She’s very, very good at creating wealth and people try to take advantage of that. And so they try to take advantage of us, because Taylor doesn’t pay for that stuff. We’re pay for those things,” she told the news agency. .

They went on to note that all hotels in the area were fully booked for Swift’s three nights in town. Additionally, tickets to see Swift perform in New Orleans are said to cost a thousand dollars.

Swift is on the final leg of her Eras Tour and previously performed in Miami the weekend of October 19. Her New Orleans shows will begin on October 25 and end on the 27th.
