National Hockey League 24
NHL 24 is an upcoming ice hockey video game produced by EA Sports. It is the 33rd game in the NHL series and will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on October 6, 2023.

The game has some major changes compared to NHL 23. A new skill action called “Full Control” has been added, allowing players to perform fancy moves with just one click. The passing system is also different, now using four buttons on the controller to pass the ball. Additionally, there’s a new body-checking system that works very similarly to bruise control in NHL 2004. You can also expect players to be checked to the bench and break the glass, just like before.

One cool thing about NHL 24 is that players can play together regardless of which console they use. This feature will be available for Hockey Ultimate Team and World of Chel, unlike NHL 23, which only supports cross-platform matches.

NHL 24 Mix Control
Controls have changed for the upcoming NHL 24 games. Gamers want Electronic Arts (EA) to re-introduce the NHL 94 controller as it is crucial to their gaming experience. The controls are known for being accessible to players with limited mobility. Another control scheme called “Hybrid Controls” has also been removed, but EA promises to bring it back in a future update.
Currently, there is no confirmation whether NHL 94 Controls will be included in NHL 24, but the development team is aware of requests from disabled players. Players affected by this change can provide feedback to EA on official platforms such as the NHL 24 forum.

NHL 24 release date
As confirmed by EA, the release date of “NHL 24” is October 6. Players who choose the X-Factor version will get an early start, with three days of access before the 6th. In addition, starting October 3, EA Play members can take part in a 10-hour trial. This is consistent with EA’s previous NHL series release schedule. NHL 24’s closed beta also opened for a week in late August.
NHL 24 Platform
NHL 24 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. However, it is not available on Nintendo Switch or PC. The last NHL game released on PC was NHL 09, while the one released on Nintendo consoles was NHL 06 on GameCube.
