Kim Kardashian has made an epic return to the music scene thanks to her brother-in-law Travis Barker.
The actress and reality TV star released a set of surreal visuals to accompany her Barker-produced “Santa Baby” cover.
To make the festive video, Kardashian teamed up with directors Nadia Lee Cohen and Charlie Denis for the project. The video is nearly five minutes long, with Kardashian wearing a blonde wig. However, her antics are what attract attention as she gets down on her knees at a holiday party filled with meaningless Christmas scenarios like arguments about money and partying.
New stills released for old VHS home video footage of “Santa Baby” channel. Clips are often animated and sometimes fast-forwarded. Throughout the clip, Kardashian wears a blue shirt with pink stockings. She accentuated her look with a pair of high heels.
In one clip, the camera pans to a sleeping elf and Kardashian squeezes herself between the legs of a random plumber. She walked into a room where men were playing sports and women were playing Twister.
There’s even a person dressed like Jesus who appears in one scene. Actor Macaulay Culkin randomly appears as Santa Claus in the video.
“Santa, please put a Sable under the tree for me,” she sings throughout the soulful song. The video is available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify.
Kardashian released her debut single “Jam (Turn It Up”) in 2011. The song was written by the dream team of Tricky Stewart and The Dream. The couple is best known for Beyoncé’s iconic work I Am Sasha Fierce album released in 2008. The album is one of the singer’s most iconic projects and featured the Diamond singles “Single Ladies” and “Halo”. It also includes the top 10 hit “Sweet Dreams”.
Kardashian’s song was less successful than their other releases and only reached number 17 on the charts Billboards bubbled below chart. However, Kardashian donated the proceeds from the song to St. Jude.
