Bayaan’s song ‘Maand’ accused of copying Zaain’s debut song ‘Chue Chue’

KARACHI: Singer Zaain ul Abideen has alleged that the band Bayaan, Hassan Raheem and Rovali copied his debut song ‘Chue Chue’ in their new song ‘Maand’.

In a video posted on his social media, Zaain asserted that his song “Chue Chue” was released in 2009 and earned him a nomination for Best Singer of the Year at the Lux Awards in 2010.

Leveling accusations against Bayaan, Zaain said that his song was used without permission or attribution in “Maand”, which was released on Bayaan’s official YouTube channel on December 16 and has since been released. become popular.

Zaain’s debut song ‘Chue Chue’ has achieved a total of 0.624 million views on his official YouTube channel. On the other hand, ‘Maand’, posted on Bayaan’s official YouTube channel, has been viewed only 0.194 million times so far.

Sharing his feelings on social media, Zaain said he was feeling betrayed and disappointed as he had put so much effort and “emotional energy” into the production of ‘Chue Chue’.

He also called attention to the defendant’s massive social media platforms, claiming they were unfairly benefiting from his work. Zaain has called on those responsible, including Sony Music Entertainment, to acknowledge his actions and give the original creators due credit.

As of now, Bayaan, Hasan Raheem and Rovali have not yet responded to the allegations made by Zaain, who called on the public to support him in his fight against plagiarism and intellectual property rights violations. When contacted for a response, Bayaan’s management did not comment on the matter.
