Early life
Obetta CJ Peters was born on August 24, 1982, at a private medical center. He is of Igbo ethnicity and was born into the prestigious family of Chief Sylvester Obetta (Okwute) and Lolo Grace Obetta. His parents named him Peter Chijioke Obetta. Peter is his Biblical name, while Chijioke is his native name.
He is originally from the Southeastern part of Nigeria and hails from Obollo Afor in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He spent his formative years in his ancestral home, Obollo Afor, living on his parents’ estate. He had a middle-class childhood, living with his parents and siblings until he left his ancestral home to pursue higher education.

He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.pharm) degree from UNN in 2008.

With a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, Obetta CJ Peters began pursuing his dream of becoming one of the top Pharmacists in Nigeria. His career journey began as a Pharmacist Intern at Federal Medical Centre Owerriaccording to IMO status, between 2008 and 2009.
After a successful stint in this role, he moved to become the secretary of health and human services in the FCT hospital management department.
