Rita Ora tearfully honors Liam Payne at the 2024 MTV EMAs YouTube: @MTV UK
The late Liam Payne has been honored at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards.
On November 10, the 2024 MTV EMAs awarded several artists and presented exciting performances. The show was also hosted by Rita Ora, who demonstrated her hosting skills and engaging audience presence.
During the event, Ora took time to speak with Payne, who died on October 16 after falling from the third floor of the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo hotel, in Argentina.
Ora began her tribute by taking a moment to remember Payne, who she described as having “an important part in the MTV world,” as well as her own and many others.
The host then revealed that there are many ways to honor him and just talking about him is enough.
She said: “Liam Payne is one of the kindest people I know. “He has the biggest heart.”
Ora continued, “He brought so much joy to every room he entered and he left such a mark on this world. So let’s take a moment to reflect.” miss our friend Liam.”
The video then transitions to a series of images showing the late One Direction member being remembered by MTV.
Ora and Payne collaborated in 2018 on the song “For You”, the official soundtrack of the movie “Fifty Shades Freed”.
