Raheem Shaquille Sterling MBE (born 8 December 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger and an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team.

Early life and education
Raheem Sterling, the creative football star, was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on December 8, 1994. When he was five years old, he and his mother, Nadine Clarke, moved to London. Unfortunately, Phillip Slayter, his father, was tragically murdered in Jamaica when Sterling was just two years old.
Raheem Sterling has three siblings: Kimberley Sterling, Kingston Sterling and Lakima Sterling. However, he faced academic challenges despite attending various schools such as Vernon House Special School And Ark Elvin Academy High School. He finally made the difficult decision to drop out of school.
Career
Raheem Sterling’s football journey began at Queens Park Rangers before Liverpool came calling in 2010. He won the Golden Boy award in 2014. However, in July 2015, his £49 million move to Manchester City made him the most expensive player in British football.
