He was CEO of The Walt Disney Company from 2005 to 2020. He also served as executive chairman and chairman of the board. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Capital Cities/ABC from 1995 until its sale by Disney in 1996, and president of ABC Television from 1994 to 1995.

Robert “Bob” Iger succeeded Michael Eisner as CEO of Disney in 2005 after being appointed chairman and chief executive officer of the company in 2000.
