He entered the Nigerian film industry in 1995 as a soundtrack producer before moving into music production. He is recognized for helping some of the biggest stars of Nigerian music create hits.

In Delta State, Nigeria, on May 30, 1971, Sammie Okposo was born. His father encouraged him to pursue a career in accounting as a child. He is a native of Delta State, Nigeria.
