Shania Twain’s look and voice spark criticism after ‘unrecognisable’ Glastonbury appearance: ‘She’s terrible’

Shania Twain fans are complaining on social media that the singer looks unrecognizable.

Twain’s latest performance at the Glastonbury Festival appeared to disappoint her loyal fans with her appearance and performance.

On Instagram, Twain posted a series of photos and videos of her performance at the highly anticipated music festival in the UK and her other concerts in nearby towns.

“This has been one of my favorite tours so far – sold out shows, amazing crowds and warm welcomes everywhere we went… You guys have really spoiled me! Thank you to everyone who has come to the shows so far, I’m having a blast on the road!” Twain wrote on Instagram.

However, fans of the “Man! I Feel Like A Woman” singer shared their feelings of disappointment and confusion after watching the singer’s performance.

“I’ve always loved her but she was awful. Both at Belfast and Glastonbury. She was unrecognisable, her voice was different and she couldn’t finish a song. Too concerned with her appearance. Completely different to the woman I’ve seen in concert!” complained one fan.

“Back to the old look!” one user requested.

“Did she do something to her face!?!?!” one user wondered if the singer had plastic surgery or some kind of procedure done.

“Is that Shania? Don’t even recognize her! What did she do to her face?” one critic said.

Many also pointed out that Twain’s voice sounded different during her performance.

“Didn’t anyone say how bad her singing was? It was all backing vocals doing the high notes,” one person said, agreeing with others who commented: “Good luck to her, but her singing is terrible.”

However, many have defended Twain’s honor, noting that she had undergone throat surgery and even suffered from Lyme disease.

“Give her a break, she’s 58 and had major vocal cord surgery due to Lyme disease. She can still perform and it’s true that it takes a while for her vocal cords to warm up. She’s so sick that she’s lost a lot of weight and lost her voice,” one user argued.

“I think what people forget or don’t really know is that Shania lost her voice to Lyme disease and it took a lot of work, effort and confidence to get her voice back. It’s true that she will never be able to sing like she used to but she performed beautifully and was always very appreciative of the fans and crowd,” another defended.
