She was born to American parents David L. Husman and Lois Arlene Husman. She has a sister named Melinda Husman and a brother named Michael Husman.
Lori Greiner attended Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in communications and as a student she worked for The Chicago Tribune. She sold jewelry and briefly worked as a playwright. Her husband is Dan Greiner.

The plastic earring organizer was developed and patented by Lori Greiner in 1996. JC Before the holiday shopping season, Penney purchased the item, which helped her pay off a $300,000 loan in 18 months . She has patented consumer goods in various categories, including cosmetic organization, jewelry storage, travel, electronics, and home appliances.
She found success with JC Penney Greiner and grew her business after seeing her products on the Home Shopping Network and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Lori Greiner then moved to QVC, where she presented one of the network’s longest-running shows, Clever & Unique Creations, in 2000.
Lori Greiner participated in the American television show Shark Tank in 2012. Her investment in Scrub Daddy, a company that produces household sponges with variable textures, was recognized as one of its successes. Biggest achievement in Shark Tank history in 2014.
