LePreston Porter, better known as Snootie Wild, was born on April 23, 1985, in Memphis, Tennessee. After being stabbed in the knee at the age of 17, Snootie Wild was unable to continue his athletic career. From the ages of 21 to 25, he spent four years in prison.

Snootie then turned to a life of crime, ending up in prison for four years. Snootie wrote the lyrics for her first single, “Yayo”, which was released by Heartland Entertainment in 2013 and produced by K.Figz.
