Karenjit Kaur Vohra, better known by her stage name Sunny Leone, is an American and Indian film actress. She was born on May 13, 1981 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, to Punjabi Sikh parents. Her father, Jaspal Singh Vohra, was born in Tibet and raised in Delhi, while her mother, Balwant Kaur Vohra, grew up in Himachal Pradesh. She has a brother named Sundeep Vohra.
Sunny Leone’s family moved to Fort Gratiot, Michigan when she was young. When she was 13 years old, her family moved to Lake Forest, California. In 2019, she became a Canadian citizen.
Despite being Sikh, her parents sent her to a Catholic school because they believed it would be unsafe for her to attend a public school. Sunny Leone’s grandparents wanted the family to live together in one place. She had her first kiss at age 11. In 2008, they called off their engagement to Matt Erikson. She admitted that she was married to American actor, producer and businessman Daniel Weber in an interview in early 2011. While living in the Bigg Boss house later that year, Sunny Leone mentioned to her marriage.
