The musician recently spoke with Billboard and she revealed that a candle was knocked over while they were hosting a dinner party at the pop singer’s apartment.

“She is such a legend — I don’t know how at this time or in our state, she knows what to do,” Abrams said of her good friend.

The incident happened 6 months ago, when they were having dinner when they heard the sound of candles falling from afar. At first Swift thought it was just the sound of one of her cats jumping around the house.

The next day, they were shocked to see the kitchen on fire and the “Cruel Summer” singer herself extinguished the fire.
“We were both coughing like crazy from fire extinguisher smoke for weeks,” Abrams added.

Although this was an unfortunate incident, the singer said something wonderful happened the night before, like when they wrote the song Us, a song on her new album. Our secret.
She said they were listening to instrumental tracks created by Aaron Dessner at the time, and “something hit our ears that was strong and fast at the same time.”
They immediately started writing songs on the piano, and she imagined the type of songs she had listened to as a child.

That was also the night that Swift played Abrams a few songs from her unreleased record, The poet group was tortured.
She recalls dancing the night away to the song “But Daddy, I Love Him” and she lay down on the floor listening to “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
In other updates, Gracie Abrams will release her new albumour secret, on Friday. It will feature 13 new songs, including a collaboration with Taylor Swift.
“We really had fun writing this album. There were tears every now and then… The music is basically yours in 5 seconds and we can’t wait. I. Love. You.,” the singer said in an earlier announcement.
