Taylor Swift surprise appearance at Glastonbury? Fans expect to see The National

Rumors are flying around Glastonbury about a surprise appearance by a potential guest on Sunday night – Taylor Swift.

Festivalgoers are in high spirits, suggesting that Swift could join The National on The Other Stage for their headline performance. Speculation stems from The National’s collaboration with Swift on the song “The Alcott”, which is featured on their album, The first two pages of Frankenstein.

However, with Swift and The National currently embarking on separate tours, those rumours may not be true. While excitement is running high, fans will be disappointed as it has been confirmed that Swift will not be making a surprise appearance, according to The Mirror.

Amid speculation about Glastonbury’s future lineup, Swift was set to headline the festival in 2020 before the global health crisis intervened. With the event’s fate uncertain, speculation now focuses on Swift returning to the stage as a top contender in 2025.

Dazzled audiences with his 152-city The Eras Tour, the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist set a new benchmark for concert success.

During her recent performance at the Aviva Stadium, Swift delighted a packed audience, as reported by the Irish Examiner, who noted that fans had traveled from all over Ireland to attend the show.

Taking to the podium, the “Guilty As Sin” singer told the audience that the energy of Irish fans is unmatched.

“I just have this feeling of ‘we’re back’. I’ve never performed a song in Dublin, I think it’s been five years. No one does this like you.”

Incorporating a new element of surprise, the famous artist showcased his archery skills during live performances at Wembley Stadium, especially in the song “So High School” from his latest album Miss, Faculty of Poets were tortured.

The audience also applauded when Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, took the stage during the Eras Tour London show. Dressed in a dapper tuxedo with a top hat and ponytail, he accompanied her from “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” to “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart.”

Swift’s schedule includes two packed shows in Dublin and a return to London in mid-August as part of her European tour. After her time in Europe, the “Lover” singer will return to North America, where she will wrap up her lengthy tour in Vancouver, BC, on December 8.
