According to Page Six, the rapper’s son has been charged with first-degree murder for the shooting of Darius Guillebeaux three years ago. It is understood he was detained on Tuesday along with Richard Swygert, another man linked to the case.

In addition, Scott was also charged with second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and possession of a weapon.

Swygert, on the other hand, was charged with first-degree murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment.

The rapper spoke to the agency through Scott’s attorney, Dawn Florio, after her son’s arrest, saying her family stands by her son’s innocence and they are praying that the New York Police Department York will conduct a thorough investigation to reveal the truth.
“This is certainly a difficult time for me and my family. While we sincerely appreciate the love and support we have received from all of you, we kindly ask We ask for privacy as our legal team works to prove JaySon’s innocence,” Remy Ma added.

The rapper added that she wanted to personally handle the matter, but his legal team advised her to keep quiet as this was true for others in the same situation.

In a report published by NY Daily News in 2021, Darius Guillebeaux was confronted by two men who opened fire. He was beaten multiple times in the head and chest.

The victim was taken to the emergency room at a nearby hospital, but it was too late because the victim had died.
Guillebeaux has been sentenced three times to state prison for drug sales and robbery. He was released in 2017 after four years in prison. In total, he reportedly has 13 arrests on his record.
It’s unclear if Remy Ma has a good relationship with her son, but he appeared in an episode of Love and Hip Hop in 2016. He then walked his mother down the aisle for her second wedding to Papoose.
