The “My Heart Will Go On” hitmaker spoke about her diagnosis in an emotional video on Instagram while also announcing the cancellation of the remainder of her tour.

“I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological condition called rigid person syndrome, which affects one in every million people,” she said in her video. “While we are still learning about this rare condition, we now know that this is what is causing all the contractions I am having.”

It worked for a few days, for a few weeks and then it didn’t work anymore.” “, she told People. “I didn’t understand that I could go to sleep and stop breathing. And you learn – you learn through your mistakes.”
