Terri Lynn Kathey ‘found dead’ in her car: Nashville singer dead after missing for days

Terri Lynn Kathey, who was famous for her gospel and blues songs and was popular throughout the Nashville music scene, was initially reported missing and her family pleaded with the public to help them find her.

According to family friend Kerry Pharr, who spoke with Taste of Country, the musician, who also performs under the moniker Terri Lynn Blues, and her husband, Kevin Kathey, have a courier service business. headquartered in Nashville, TN.

In the early morning hours of June 16, Kathey left home to pick up a package at Music Valley Drive around town. She then used her debit card at a local Hardee’s around 6:30 a.m.

The package was supposed to be delivered to Chattanooga, but the singer never completed the transaction.

Her husband then sought help from the police and reported her missing. Authorities were able to ping her phone on Monteagle Mountain in Tennessee. Since then, there has been no activity on her mobile device or card.

Kevin Kathey drove to her last ping location in hopes of finding the singer, but she still hadn’t appeared and there was no sign of her around.

Taking to her Facebook page, Kerry Pharr shared a photo of the singer to ask the public and pray for her safety.

“If you see her please call Nashvile police or contact me and I will contact her husband Kevin. This is very disturbing, she and Kevin were with us during the Livestream last Tuesday night to share the gospel with music and song! article writing.

The couple has been active in the Nashville music scene because in addition to Terri Lynn, her husband is also a drummer who has played with Emmylou Harris, Tommy Overstreet, etc.

Days after the search, Kerry Pharr posted the heartbreaking news on social media when she confirmed that the singer was found dead in her car near Monteagle, TN.

There are no further details about her death, but it is said that she died possibly of a heart attack.

Kerry Pharr then organized a prayer and live broadcast of singing on Facebook as a tribute to the late singer.
