Roundup: No Way Out 2023 Movie Ending Explained

Review: No Way Out 2023 Plot
Detective Ma Seok-do and his team are promoted to the Urban Investigation Team to investigate the death of a woman named Go Sun-hee. The autopsy report showed that Shanxi had been using a drug called “Hiper”. Their investigation leads them to a nightclub, where they interrogate the club’s president and discover that a gang member named Hiroshi is supplying Hiper from Incheon.
Ma’s team successfully captures Hiro and seizes 20 kilograms of Hiper, but corrupt police officer Joo Sung-chul steals the drugs and kills Hiroshi. However, Jack Ma’s team managed to survive. It is revealed that Sung-cheol was protecting a group called the “White Shark Clan” and stole Hiper and profited from it. In response, the gang hires a hitman named Ricky to retrieve the stolen drugs.

Ma learns that another drug supplier is named Tomo and attempts to arrest him, but Ricky kills Tomo and escapes. This triggers a drug war between Ricky and Sung-cheol. Following clues, Ma found Hipper on a yacht and reached an agreement with Cheng Zhe with the help of his acquaintance Zhao Longyi.
However, Sung-cheol betrays Ma and forms a new alliance with Ricky. Ma is caught by Ricky, but manages to fight back and defeat him. With the help of a tracker placed in Hiper’s bag, Ma found Chengzhe in his office. The police arrested Cheng Zhe and the gangster organization, and the case was successfully resolved. Jack Ma and his team celebrate the victory.
In a post-credits scene, Ma calls Jang Yi-soo for help on another case.
