Tsholofelo Matshaba was born on 4 July 1983 in Pretoria.
She was born and raised in a small town called Mabopane, north of Pretoria.

Chris Mashaba was a businessman who also worked as a DJ and radio host at Motsweding FM. Unfortunately, their love journey came to an abrupt end when he succumbed to cancer in 2018, four years after their marriage.
After her husband passed away, Tsholofelo Matshaba was devastated because she had lost the love of her life. Tsholofelo and Chris had lived happily together for four years until her husband passed away suddenly.
The grief-stricken actress had penned a moving essay about the ordeal she has gone through since her husband left this world.
