Valorant update 7.06 patch notes

Agent update

wise man

  • We’ve updated Sage’s voice lines and added interactive lines with more agents.

Competition updates

  • There is a wave of competition between bots and real players to climb the rankings. To prevent this abuse, we’ve introduced the restriction that players who are Ascendant and above can only invite players who are Platinum and above to join their competitive teams.
  • We will continue to actively monitor bot abuse and ban any accounts suspected of such behavior.
  • For more information about our gaming systems and our approach to combating destructive behavior, check out our recent VALORANT System Health series.

Game system update

  • Made some backend updates to combat reporting to fix cases where all the correct information was not being displayed. If there’s any strange behavior, please let us know – especially before death and the start of a round.

Valorant is a free-to-play video game developed and published by Riot Games for Windows. It falls under the category of first-person tactical hero shooter. The game was originally released in October 2019 under the codename “Project A.” It entered the closed beta phase with limited access on April 7, 2020, and was officially released on June 2, 2020.

Development of Valorant began in 2014, drawing inspiration from the Counter-Strike series. This means it has some similarities to Counter-Strike, such as the purchase menu, spray mode, and the fact that shooting is less accurate while moving.

In Valorant, players participate in multiplayer matches and choose characters with unique abilities, called heroes. Each of these heroes has their own special skills that can be used strategically in the game. It’s not just about aiming and shooting; tactics and teamwork play a vital role in achieving victory.

The game is designed to be played on Windows PCs and is available for free so that a wide range of players can enjoy the game. Riot Games, the developer and publisher of Valorant, is well-known in the gaming world for its hit game League of Legends.

“Valorant” gameplay

Valorant is a team-based first-person shooter set in the near future. In the game, you play as one of multiple characters called “agents,” each with unique abilities. Two teams of five players each compete in different game modes.

The main mode is one team attacking and the other team defending. Attackers must place a device called a “spike” at a designated location, while defenders try to stop them. If the spike explodes, the attacker wins the round. The defending team wins if they deactivate it or time runs out. There’s also a mode called “Spike Rush” that’s faster and allows you to win four rounds. Everyone’s abilities increase faster at the beginning.

Swiftplay is a shorter version of the main mode, where teams switch sides after four rounds. The goal is to win five rounds. Competitive mode is similar to main mode, but with a ranking system. You need to be level 20 to play this mode. Advanced mode is suitable for players who want to become professional players and organize teams to participate in divisional competitions.

Deathmatch is a free-for-all mode where the player’s goal is to get 40 kills first or get the most kills when time runs out. Team Deathmatch is similar to Deathmatch, but two teams compete to reach 100 kills. Leveling up is team-based and involves progressing through kills using different weapons. Replication lets players vote for an agent and the entire team plays that agent. You buy weapons and abilities, and it’s a best-of-nine format.

Finally, Snowball Fight is a special mode introduced during the Christmas season where teams compete in a snowball fight to reach a goal of 50 kills. In all these modes, teamwork, strategy, and gunplay are crucial to success.
