Early life
Vera Sidika was born into the Mung’asia family on September 30, 1989. She was raised by her parents in a rural town in the coastal city of Mombasa. Her names Vera and Sidika mean faith and friendship respectively.
Although born into a middle-class family, Vera aspired to work in the media industry from a young age. She always told herself that she was a bright star, someone who was meant for great things.
