Who are Chiara Hovland’s siblings?

Model Chiara Hovland is the daughter of Tim and Pamela Hovland. Pamela and Tim got married in 1988 and have been together ever since.

Their father, as reported by USA Volleyball, was a three-sport high school star in California and became one of the best athletes in the world at both indoor and beach volleyball.

After a junior volleyball career on both hardwood and sand courts, Tim matriculated at the University of Southern California, where he enjoyed an outstanding four-year career. He was a three-time All-American from 1979 to 1981. He led the Trojans to three straight NCAA championship games and an all-tournament appearance each year. USC won the NCAA crown in 1980 and was runner-up in 1979 and 1981. He was honored with induction into the USC Sports Hall of Fame in 2009.

While at USC, Tim became a force on the national stage. He was a first-team All-American Volleyball Team selection six times from 1979 to 1984, including MVP in 1983, when he led Nautilus Pacific to four USA Volleyball National Championship titles expanded during that period.

Tim combined his playing time at USC with playing for the US Men’s National Team. He helped the United States win the Canada Cup by defeating Cuba in 1981 and was named MVP. Tim led Team USA to a silver medal at the 1981 NORCECA Championship. He spent eight years playing in the Italian Serie A1 professional league. Tim led Kappa Turin to the league championship and MVP in 1984, becoming one of two Americans to achieve a double.

Tim’s volleyball jersey number was retired in 2010.

On the other hand, their mother, Pamela, is the owner of Mrs. Hovies Toffee, a delicious fresh toffee handcrafted in England.

In addition to Chiara, Pam and her volleyball star husband Tim also have two other children named Tara and Hunter Hovland.
