Erin Ivory married Demetrius Ivory on December 21, 2014. They were so compatible that Dan Ponce even called them “Chicago TV’s happiest couple” on their one-year wedding anniversary.

Demetrius And Erin Ivory Children
Erin and Demetrius Ivory share twins, Hadley and Harlow. They were born on March 1, 2016, weighing 6.5 pounds and 6.8 pounds, respectively.
Sadly, Hadley wasn’t doing well. She was having seizures on and off—and she underwent rigorous neurological testing in 2017. On the bright side, Lurie Children’s confirmed that Hadley’s MRI and EEG were both normal, with no structural brain abnormalities. This all but ruled out epilepsy, which was great news. “We still don’t know the exact cause of all the seizures, but we’re so grateful for the good news coming our way,” Erin said at the time.
In addition to her twins, Erin also has two more children, Joaquin and Lulu, from a previous relationship.
Her daughter, Lulu, was born on April 9, 2008. “I remember worrying that Lulu might be jealous of the younger twins coming. I couldn’t be any worse. She loves her sisters more than anyone else,” Erin shared.
As for her first child, Joaquin entered the world on December 29, 2004. “He changed my life from the first time I held him. These days he’s shy when I take pictures of him, but as a mother, I can’t help but be moved by him,” Erin said of the little boy.
Joaquin graduates from high school in June 2023
Fun Fact: In August 2019, Hadley and Harlow were excited to be heading back to their first day of kindergarten until Eri realized it wasn’t until tomorrow. “The tears just kept coming when we had to take them home,” Erin recalled.

Erin Ivory Health
Erin Ivory is currently in good health. But in October 2021, she left fans worried about her health when she revealed that she had been diagnosed with heart failure.
She was diagnosed with end-stage heart failure in February, and then suffered a heart attack, the reporter said. One of her kidneys had lost 90 percent of its function, and doctors were trying to treat several blood clots in her body.
Her problems began in 2009, when she woke up one night with chest pain. Tests showed a problem, but emergency room doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
She then experienced night terrors in 2012 and 2016, never seeing a cardiologist. “At no point did I think my life was in danger from heart disease,” she said.
Unfortunately, in February 2021, her doctor sent her to the emergency room because her symptoms suggested she was having a heart attack. A week later, she did have one. From there, her road to recovery began. At first, she couldn’t walk for more than five minutes. Her circulation was so bad that she had to wear battery-powered compression socks to keep her toes warm. But after taking 11 medications a day, her heart function and circulation improved dramatically.
“I received the most amazing care from the hospital’s cardiac team and for that, I am incredibly grateful,” she later posted on social media. “I feel incredibly lucky to be alive and finally home with my family.”
