Every year on April 25, Katherine Ballard and Tim Ballard wish each other a ‘Happy Anniversary!’ “Katherine, I love you even more today than I did 21 years ago (and I loved you A TON back then ❤️),” Tim wrote this on Facebook on the same day in 2021.

Not only on special occasions does Tim talk a lot about his beautiful wife. He was happy to tell her how grateful he was to “Heavenly Father” for her. He often tells the world how much they love each other.

Of course Katherine also reciprocated those feelings. Not long ago a blog post ourrescue.org talking about how she said it was easy for her to support Tim because she loved him. Also praising her husband’s work rescuing trafficked children, Katherine said she feels secure knowing he is doing something meaningful that very few people can and will do. As a result, her trust in Tim strengthened his faith.

As of 2023, Tim Ballard and Katherine Ballard introduce themselves as the parents of 9 children. Two of them (son Colin and daughter Coline) were adopted. They were apparently rescued by Tim from human traffickers while he was on an operation in Haiti. These nine children range in age from 23 to 6 as of June 2023.

Tim met Colin and Colin, two brothers, on a trip to Haiti. And just a few months into the adoption process, Katherine felt inspired to help more children and even started an organization to do so.

Next to this photo, Tim passionately wrote that he is grateful for an eternal family whose children are the light of his world. And right on May 14, 2023, Tim praised Katherine for being an inspiring and wonderful mother to their children.

Their son Blain Ballard is a volunteer at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Previously, he attended Westlake High School in Utah. Back in May 2019, his parents were extremely proud when he was called to serve a two-year church mission in Quito, Ecuador. “So lucky to be his father!!!”, Tim said at the time.

The remaining son is much younger than Daniel. He was born during a time when Tim and his wife were fighting to bring their Haitian children home. The adoption process took more than three years.

The remaining children we know of are the daughters Anne and Della.

Katherine is the daughter of Tamara and Richard Zinn. Born in December 1951, Tamara turns 71 years old in 2022, while, as of July 2023, Richard is 74 years old.

Back in March 2020, Tim revealed on his Facebook about Katherine setting up a foundation called Children in Need of Families (CNF). He says he’s really happy for her and informs everyone that the organization is now a project of Operation Underground Railroad. In addition, he also shared that they will work together to develop further. Our aftercare effort. And they have done so for many years. Together, they worked with children who were trafficked or at risk of being trafficked and helped place them with families who wanted to adopt them.
